Lego still makes lots of sets and themes without IPs. Nothing has changed. You had Lego space and now you have Lego Star Wars. There's no difference. You can still create whatever you want. Before it had to be city, or castle, or space, or pirates.

This isn't an Energon toy, it's a Cybertron toy, i used to have a copy when i was a kid (Armada: secret weaponry or action gimmicks activated by minicons Energon: autobots combine with each other while decepticons have hidden weaponry activated manually Cybertron: gimmicks activated by buttons inside the cyber key slots)

Hasbro cant seem to figure out how to balance well designed figures with a decent price, and their strategy lately looks like they are just pushing a bunch of cheap looking overpriced junk

On one hand this makes me feel bad for the kids, the toys made for them get worse and worse; on the other hand kids aren't really interested in toys anyway, they want videogames and hi-tech gadgets nowadays

It's a nice figure for what it is worth and given the era. Here's the thing that bugs me. Is anyone else seeing camera lenses of sorts in the chest when in robot mode? Kind of like G1 Refelctor. They Feel like G2 Toys And i am hyped for the Figures!

There is a late 90s Mecha Anime called Big-O, which features a Robot towing Train setup like you showed. It actually reminds me of the style of Batman:TAS, Bruce Wayne with Piloted Fighting Robots. He transports his Mech thru abandoned Subway rails beneath a post-Apocalyptic Gotham-esque City. He calls a train with his wristwatch and it runs around with the mech standing just like that. 👍😎👍

You got the orientation of the limbs mirrored

I noticed that you didn’t do the full transformation of the Micro Man gunner station mode. You forgot to take apart another piece of the stock and it connects to the back of that other shooting piece to become a backrest for the Micro Man’s seat. I own 2 of the original Megatron toys and The World’s Smallest, and MP-05 and MP-36. I never got that small one that you showed in this video. I believe that the Japanese version of that mini Megatron doesn’t have the orange color on it.

I made a gag image in Paint of "Safetytron" YEARS before I knew Hasbro had actually planned the same. lol. What I didn't anticipate (and greatly like) is the blue chrome. Wonder if there's a metallic clear like Tamiya paint or something to customize a G1 repro or something.

god-fucking-damn, a massive Netflix ER Optimus (and used to be a walmart exclusive w/ two Weaponizers, whilst this one doesn't have them in yellow nor transforming, they did indeed homage the axe and shield) as a guy who LOVED Optimus Prime in darker, TFP Nemesis Prime-like colors, this is so good to see someone review it again (even if it's a bootleg)

Awesome to see a Plasticon OG Bot from days of yore! He looks in good shape considering the era and situation. It's amazing all the joints held up enough to transform and stand with stability. Good job getting him presentable again. That is one heck of a vint TF childhood treasure!

I've got one like this - though it's heavily retooled to look like the cartoon, and it's called T-01. That's it's name, it seems. Me and my friends just call it Ugly Crotch because on the original Chinese social media post, it was called "Ugly Crotch Optimus Prime". :P

I still have this beast! My son plays with it to this day. The propellers fell off, but I still have them. I bought it for $12 when I was 12 (and gotten shit for it) but, when I bought it, someone had stolen the vehicle from the package, so I never got to play with it properly. very tough little toy, and it still looks really cool. 👍🏻 🍻

I have a lil bag with a variety of 1 inch lil men from the 80s. Love them. The smaller the man...the bigger the adventure! I don't understand why Takara hasn't released a multi pack Diaclone pilot reissues. It would be a guarantee seller.

The world needs more 1 inch pilot figures. I'm glad we've got newer ones that are easy to get nowadays like the Gundam Micro Wars pilots.
